​Ria was a dedicated member of our North Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists. She served as Treasurer and Membership chair for many years and was always willing to assist with many of our local exhibitions. 

Ria started painting in 1997 in watercolour and later chose to paint in acrylics. She enjoyed participating in workshops and was always seeking to discover new approaches to her art.

"The beauty of nature inspires me to paint my impressions".

​Ria was a wonderful and committed member of both the North Okanagan FCA chapter and the Okanagan Artists of Canada Society in Vernon. She will be  sadly missed.
