MARGARET ROBERTSON

​I work primarily in acrylic but also use oils, pastel, graphite, watercolor and mixed media. Back-lit subjects inspire me as do figures, animals and nature. In general, my art is more of an emotional response than a totally
representational rendering. My style is varied and intentionally not pinned
down to one technique so I portray abstractions to realism.

I was born in Saskatchewan and have lived in Salmon Arm since 1957. My education includes Fine Art Courses at OUC, Artist Workshops and Life Drawing. I have active status with the Federation of Canadian Artists and a member of  the NOFCA, TNSC-FCA, and COC-FCA Chapters.
