​Joann Little was raised on a farm in Vernon, and attributes her interest in colour and form to the animals, lakes and hills of the Vernon area.  She is a member of the North Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists and enjoys painting in acrylics.  Her interest in painting people and animals portrays a strong emotional link to the viewer with the use of complementary and contrasting colours, motion and story.  Her work can be found at the annual NOC Art Shows held at the Vernon Community Art Center and Performing Arts Centre.
