I have been fascinated with painting ever since I can remember. I was raised in Montreal and enjoyed all manner of interesting art. However, as art was not part of the general curriculum at school and my efforts at home didn’t please me, I assumed that I didn’t have any talent and I became a bacteriologist!
In 1987 when my children had grown up and left home, I took a beginner’s watercolour course in White Rock – just for fun. I loved it. I have been taking and teaching courses ever since. Painting has become an integral part of my life. I am interested in many forms of art but personally, I like to focus on the beauty of the world around me.
