​My work reflects my obsession with light and colour.  I paint using a black canvas technique where I’m attempting to bring the image out of the black surface.  The black becomes part of the image to exaggerate the flow of dark to light.  This results in areas of pure colour and very distinctive darks and satisfies my obsession with the light.
