Flowing! Whether trying to capture the beauty of water, nature or the art making process itself the ‘flow’ is what inspires me to paint!
While growing up in Vernon and actively exploring the Okanagan Valley, Shuswap and Coastal areas of British Columbia my art has been greatly influenced by water and nature in all its forms. I paint in an abstract and semi-abstract style to reflect the changing reality of nature and my reaction to its beauty. I am also deeply influenced by people and their internal process having a professional background in counseling and art therapy and this is also reflected in some of my intuitive and expressive paintings.
