Barb Picken
Barb is primarily a self-directed artist, but she has taken many courses and workshops over the years to further her skills. She has studied under Kristy Gordon, a Canadian expat who is an adjunct professor at the New York Academy of Art. Barb is a member of both the North Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Okanagan Artists of Canada and has participated in both juried and non-juried exhibitions. When she is not in her studio, she can be found on the trails around Vernon, BC with her dog.
